After you select and pay for your booking options in step 3 of the process. You never book directly — our operations team handles the execution of every booking on your behalf using the payment you've made.

Quote Payment Policy

The fee paid to your expert is non-refundable once the expert has begun building your booking options. If you cancel before the expert starts, a full refund of the quote fee is issued.

Booking Payment Policy

Your booking payment is held securely by LoreVenture operations and only disbursed once bookings are confirmed. If you decline all three price-change resolution options and no booking is completed, your booking payment is refunded minus a 3% processing fee.

Price Change Policy

Price increases are not your expert's responsibility. The defined resolution path is: (1) pay the price difference, (2) choose an expert-provided alternative, or (3) open a 24-hour assisted booking session with our operations team. If none of these result in a confirmed booking, your booking payment is refunded per the Booking Payment Policy.

24-Hour Session Policy

The 24-hour assisted booking window begins the moment you select Option 3. You must remain responsive within the window. If the 24 hours expire without a booking agreement, the transaction automatically advances with any bookings that have already been confirmed. Neither you nor your expert can extend this window.

Expert Payout Policy

Experts are not paid until the itinerary has been delivered and accepted by the traveler. In the event that no bookings are confirmed after all three resolution options have been exhausted, the expert receives a 40% partial payout for the planning work completed up to that point.

Refund Policy

Full refunds are available if you cancel before your expert has started building booking options. Partial refunds apply after that point, scaled to how far along in the process the cancellation occurs. No refund is issued after the itinerary has been delivered and accepted.

Data & Payment Security

Your saved card information is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and is never shared with your expert or any third party. It is only used with your explicit confirmation — for example, to process a delta payment you have chosen to authorize.
